We collect as little data as possible, solely to respond to your requests and to organise the event.

Data collected

  • Applications from houses and partnership enquiries: name, position, contact details, information about your house or company, the content of your message and any documents submitted.
  • News sign-up: your email address.

The site uses no advertising cookies, no audience measurement tools, and no third-party fonts or services loaded without your knowledge. The hosting provider records technical logs (IP address, date, page visited) required for the proper functioning and security of the site.

Purposes

  • Reviewing and responding to applications and partnership enquiries.
  • Organising the event with the selected houses and partners.
  • Sending event news to those who have requested it.

Recipients and hosting

Your data is intended for the Geneva Perfume Days organising team and is neither sold nor transferred. The site and its forms are hosted by Netlify, Inc., in the United States. Each time a form is submitted, a summary is sent by email to the organising team via the mail service of LWS (Ligne Web Services), our email provider in France, a country recognised by the Federal Council as offering an adequate level of protection. Transfers to the United States rely on the safeguards provided for by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), in particular the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

Retention period

  • Unsuccessful applications and enquiries: deleted no later than 12 months after the event.
  • Selected houses and partners: for the duration of the collaboration and of the resulting legal obligations.
  • News: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, object to its processing or withdraw your consent, by writing to contact@genevaperfumedays.com. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
